Handmade for Stitch by Stitch in Gujarat from handwoven, unbleached, organic, rain-fed kala cotton.  Block printed “stitches” are traversed by neatly hand embroidered kantha stitches, in black thread, creating a visual pun, but also adding lots of texture to the face of the cushion.

The design combines the traditional artisan skills of block printing and kantha stitching, with a fresh, neutral, geometric look.

Orders of two or more cushions come complete with a handmade drawstring cotton bag, which makes a nice gift. The bag can be re-used for clothes storage when travelling, or as a laundry bag!

Care: wash on delicate cycle at 30’ or dry clean.
