A striking, contemporary, geometric quilt, one of our Artisan Focus collection of art quilts from our makers in Gujarat, India.

The quirky off-set patchwork pattern is created with bright cotton fabrics, and finished with expertly sewn, neat rows of regular kantha stitches in a contrasting black thread. All the quilts in this unique collection exhibit the high level of design and making skills of our quilt makers. This is an art piece in its own right, and would work as a wall hanging or as a dramatic throw on a bed or armchair.

One side is in blood orange and tangerine cotton fabrics which have a subtle zig-zag woven jacquard pattern. Orange and yellow cotton striped patchwork on the other side, with black kantha stitching.

This quilt comes in a handmade cotton drawstring bag which is handy for storing your quilt or clothing when not in use, and also makes a nice laundry bag!
