This large, decorative ceramic bowl will add impact to your living area or kitchen-diner. Part of a collection of serving bowls and ramen bowls designed in collaboration with celebrated ceramicist Pip Hartle. Pip hand throws these weighty pieces in stoneware in her London studio, adding the decorative sponged motif in a darker underglaze before the final firing. The decorative pattern is taken from one of our woven rug designs.

This very large bowl can be used as a serving bowl, fruit bowl or salad bowl, or as a purely decorative statement piece in your living space.

Pip’s work is inspired by textile patterns and natural landscapes, and this, along with Pip’s neutral colour palette and hand throwing technique, made for a perfect collaboration! Each piece is unique, but functionally designed. As this is a handmade item, some slight variations may occur in the pattern, size and final finish. These variations add to the charm of this hand-crafted item.
